Virus Attack called (Conficker ) on April 1st: Eve of destruction or big joke?

Conficker C is the latest variant of a worm also known as the "Downandup" worm whose author is wanted by Microsoft on a $250,000 bounty.

It is expected to download an updated copy of itself or download other malware onto infected computers once the system date on those machines is on or after April 1, 2009, according to the internet security firm CA.

It is also expected to start generating 50,000 web URLs a day, up from 250 per day in previous versions, said an article on the discussion board of internet security firm Symantec Corp., which makes Norton Antivirus and first reported the latest variant of Conficker on March 6.

وزني 70 تقريباً و طولي 1.73 متر ( 173 سم )
فالعمليه كالتالي : 70/(173)2 = 23.4 تقريباً
أي أن الوزن مثالي

Remove icon border shadows on the desktop

This border on desktop icons can be created when the desktop items have been locked, to unlock the desktop web items right click on an empty area of your desktop. Now select Arrange icons by and uncheck 'Lock web items on desktop' if it has a little tick next to it. If you did not have a tick here then Right click on your my computer icon and view its properties, now click the advanced tab and then on the settings button under performance. Now on the visual effects tab scroll down the list of effects to 'use drop shadows for icon labels on desktop' and put a tick in the box next to it, then click ok. This should remove the shadow border from your desktop icons.

If the windows install says "No Hard Disk Found", then
1) Go to BIOS setup (F1 at BIOS screen)
2) Select Config
3) Select Serial ATA (SATA)
4) Select "Compatibility"

Once you've installed Windows XP, be sure to download the "Intel Matrix Storage Management Driver," as specified below. Once the software is installed, you may go back into the BIOS setup, and do the same as above--but set it to "AHCI" instead.

Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver/SATA Hard Drive
Windows XP does not include support for the SATA hard drive out of the box. To install, you have two options. ONE, have the hard drive in "Compatibility" mode, which will allow you to install XP without worrying about drivers. SECOND, you can download and extract the drivers to an external storage device, and install them when the XP installation asks if you'd like to manually install any drivers. Note that, in my experience, the first option is easiest--afterall, you can easily install the drivers after XP is installed, and then switch back to AHCI mode.
